We wrote to you recently regarding the actions we have been taking to work within the Government’s guidelines for safe working whilst supporting our customers ongoing needs.
We are continuing to prioritise business critical testing services, typically those required to support food safety, authenticity and legality issues, but will of course aim to support any other testing needs which may fall outside of these categories if required by your business.
We have instituted new working practises to both ensure safe working in the Laboratories and allow us to cover as much of our original scope of services as possible, these may have a possible impact on volume and turnaround, although current volumes do not as yet appear to be affecting our ability to meet client needs.
We are also aware of the potential need to support our clients with their changes to ingredients or supply routes and are happy to provide such support with risk assessments supported by assurance testing in order to smooth out supply transitions for you.
During this time, we consider an increased risk to service provision due to the delay or loss of samples whilst in transit to us. In order to mitigate this, could you please ensure that you follow the sample submission requirements and alert us by email to paslabs@premierfoods.co.uk of any samples to be received. This will enable us to check receipt and alert you of any issues in order to minimise the impact on your business.
Please let us know if there are any areas in which we can further support you at this time and we would be more than happy to discuss these with you.
Please be assured that PAS is taking all possible steps to ensure the continuity of our service provision and will be continuing to focus on our client needs during this time.

Thank you for your understanding.
